Check In & Out Times:

Check-in is no earlier than 16:00, on day of arrival.  If required we are happy to accept luggage drops before this time.
Check-out is strict at 11:00 on the day of departure.

Directions:

For directions please visit this page.  We will have supplied the password in our welcome email.  Please contact us if you have lost this.

Keys:

We will have a member of our staff on site ready to welcome you to the house and show you around.  In the unlikely event that someone will not be available we will be in touch with details of how to gain access to the property.

On departure please post keys through the letterbox on departure.  If you take the keys with you by mistake please let us know as soon as possible.  Un-returned keys will incur a £50 charge against the safety deposit.

Beds:

Beds will be made up for you and towels provided. Please advise via the questionnaire below if cots are required. All our pillows and duvets are non-feather.

Heating:

The heating in the house is fired by an oil central heating system which is on a timer to come on regularly during the day, as is the hot water.  We would be really grateful if this could be left on ‘Time’ when you leave. There is a Woodburner in the Grand Lounge and one pail of coal is supplied for your stay.  Please visit our store to purchase more pails if you think they will be required.

Wifi:

We offer unlimited wifi to our guests. The password is available in the property.

Local contact:

In case of any problems during your stay, our staff can be contacted on 07388 076604.   Please also use this number in the event of a non-life, non-property threatening emergency.  For all other emergencies please dial 999 from a safe location, including neighbouring properties.

Departure:

Please leave the house in the same state in which you found it:

  • Please wash all dishes and return them to the cupboards.
  • Please empty the dishwasher.
  • Please put household rubbish in the correct recycling bins outside the property.
  • If you have the time to strip beds of bed linen (leaving mattress protectors on the beds), we would be very grateful.
